Field Directions

Bohlken Park

Bohlken Park is located in Fairview Park, directly behind (south) of the Westgate Mall. It is adjacent to the Lutheran West High School field that is currently used.  You can park in the lot located in the park or in the Westgate Mall parking lot, directly accross from the field.

From the East:    I-90 west to the Hilliard Road Exit.(Exit #162) Proceed through the exit going west on Hilliard Road until you reach Wagar Road. Turn left onto Wagar and Head south approximately 3/4 of a mile until you reach the entrance to Bohlken Park. Turn left at the park entrance. (Note: Wagar Road is also called West 210th Street once you intersect with Center Ridge Road. Bohlken Park is directly BEHIND THE WESTGATE SHOPPING MALL, AND DIRECTLY ACCROSS FROM THE LUTHERAN WEST FIELD.

From the West:    I-90 east to the Detroit Road Exit. (Exit #161) Turn left at the exit and proceed 1/2 mile to Wagar Road. Turn right onto Wagar and Head south approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Bohlken Park. Turn left at the park entrance. (Note: Wagar Road is also called West 210th Street once you intersect with Center Ridge Road. Bohlken Park is directly BEHIND THE WESTGATE SHOPPING MALL, AND DIRECTLY ACCROSS FROM THE LUTHERAN WEST FIELD.

From the South:    Take 77 north to I-90 west to the Hillaird Road Exit. Proceed through the exit going west on Hilliard Road until you reach Wagar Road. Erie Island

Parking:  Parking lot outside left field fence.

Location:  Field is located off I-77 at Copley Road.  Right field backs up to I-77.

From the East: Follow I-76 West to I-77 North and exit at Copley Road Exit.  Turn Right, go 1 block to Cordova (on the left).  Turn left, go 1 block to Peckham.  Turn left and take Peckham into Erie Island Park.

Hudson High School

Parking:  Parking lot on First Base side of field.

From the North:  I-271 South to the Route 8 exit. Go South on Route 8 to Route 303 East. Follow Route 303 East to Stow Road (approx. 5 miles). Turn Left on Stow Road (North) and field is on the left- hand side of road approx. 2½-miles North on Stow Road

From the South:  Follow Route 8 North to the Route 303 Exit. Turn right (East) and follow the above directions from the North.

From the East:  Follow I-76 West to Route 8 North. Follow Route 8 North to the Route 303 exit. Follow the above directions from the North.

Keyser Park

From the north: Rt.8 south to Steels Corners exit; turn right. Approx. 2-3 mi. to North Hampton Rd (Stop Sign) turn left. Next Intersection (stop sign) is Bath Rd, turn left. Less than 1 mile is Keyser Parkway, turn left, and the fields are on the left just past hill.

From South: Rt.8 North to Steels Corners Rd, left. (follow 2-4 for North)

Old Forge

From the South: Follow Route 8 North and exit on Glenwood Ave. Turn right at the light at the end of the exit and turn right at the first street ( Dan Street). Take Dan St. until it dead ends at North Street. Turn right on North Street and proceed .2 of a mile to the entrance to the Akron Public Schools Distribution Center. Turn left at the entrance to the Distribution Center and immediately take the sharp left that will bring you out behind the main building. You will be able to see the field on the left. Follow the road as it winds over to the field.

From the North: Follow Route 8 South and exit at the Tallmadge Rd. Exit. Turn left and cross over the expressway. Take the first right after the light at the end of the bridge that crosses over the expressway (Dan Street) and follow the directions from the South.

From the East: Follow I-76 West to Ohio Route 8 North. Take Ohio Route 8 North to the Glenwood Ave. Exit. Follow the directions from the South

From the West: Follow I-76 West/ I-77 South to the Ohio Route 8 North Exit. Follow Ohio Route 8 North and Exit at Glenwood Ave. Follow the directions from the South

Patterson Park

Parking:  Right off Patterson Avenue.

From the North:   Take Route 8 South to Howe Avenue, Exit and turn right. Go to 3rd stoplight (Patterson Avenue).  Turn left, parking lot is 500 yards on your left.

From the South:   Take Route 8 North to Tallmadge Avenue.  Exit and turn left.  Go over Route 8 to the first intersection past Route 8 interchange.  That's Patterson Avenue.  Turn right and go until you see baseball parking lot on your right.

Note:  These are the new fields behind Stonehedge Place -- you can see them from the Route 8.

Sisler/Summit Lake

From the North: Route 8 south to I-76/77 interchange; go West on 76/77 to Dart Ave. exit. Turn left at light; go under interstate and baseball field is behind softball field.  Or, take I-77 south, get off at Lakeshore Blvd. exit; go to light, turn right.

From the South: I-77 north to central interchange, go west (follow signs to Cleveland) on 77/76 and get off at Dart Avenue exit.

From the East:   Follow I-76 West to I-76/77 Interchange and above directions from the South

WaterWorks

Parking: At the field on both first and third base sides.

From the North: Follow Route 8 South to Broad Blvd. exit (Cuyahoga Falls); turn left at light; go under interstate to second light (big Dairy Mart on corner), turn left (Newberry Street going north).  Go approximately 3 miles (Newberry turns into Munroe Falls Avenue and bends due east).  Waterworks Park on the left (see the big, empty swimming pool) at a stoplight.  Go into the park, under the railroad trestle and bear to the right and keep bearing – you'll see the fields.

From the South:  Route 8 North to Portage Trail exit. Turn right, go to the light.  Turn left (that's where Newberry becomes Munroe Falls Avenue) and follow directions above.

From the East: Follow I-76 West to the Route 8 interchange North and follow the above directions from the South.
