2007 Crew Season-

New to the the Crew and Ohio in 2007, Shane hadn't played baseball for 5 years, and it showed earlier in the season. Out of the gate Shane struggled with offspeed pitches and defensively, but as the season progressed Shane steadily improved and worked his way from a bench player to an everyday hitter. Playing a solid second base for half of the year, and with some DH time, Shane showed a quick compact swing and the ability to make very good contact. Shane is a very quick runner, but unfortunatley that wasn't able to be seen most of 2007 due to a pulled quad.
