07 Crew Review-
Kruger, having played Right and Left field in 2005 and 2006 made the move to Center in 2007 and anchored the defense with great range and the best outfield arm in Roy Hobbs. At the plate Matt struggled throughout the first half of the season, perhaps trying to do too much given the teams struggles to score runs early on. About three quarters thru the season something must of clicked and Matt went on a tear, going 9 for 9 at one point, and driving in 6 runs in a double header versus the Brew Crew. Matt led the Crew with an astounding 22 RBIs, easily the best on the team in any season.
Matt also found himself on the mound a sparingly this year, and showed a completely dominant fastball getting up into the low 90's. Control was a problem early on, but as he pitched he became more and more able to throw strikes.
