2008 Crew Review-

After pitching a solid rookie performance to open up the 2008 season, Tom was out with shoulder soreness until after July 4th, dealing the pitching staff a big blow. When he returned he cemented himself into the rotation for the remainder of the year. Tom saved his best start for the playoffs, beating the Brew Crew throwing 6 dominant innings giving up only 3 hits, striking out 8.

On the mound Tom throws a fastball in the mid 80's, touching higher at times. Complimenting his good fastball is his dominant curveball/slider which proved to be unhittable to most Roy Hobbs hitters.

After the 08 season Tom found out he has a partially torn labrum, it will not require surgery and can be rehabbed, we hope him the best and can only wish for a healthy return in 2009.
